Ingredients

  • 2 kg of quince

  • 2 kg less than a glass of granulated sugar

  • 2 glasses of water

We peel the skins of the quinces that we wash well.

Prepare lemon water in a large bowl. We soak the peeled quinces in this water so that the quinces do not turn black.

We slice the quinces to the size we want. We collect the seeds that come out of it in a separate bowl. We will use it in jam.

Drain the quinces that have been chopped and put them in a large pot. And without wasting time, we pour sugar on it.

We add the seeds we separated, the cloves and water, and put them on the stove over low heat.

We are waiting for the quinces to change color by mixing them in between. Jams get their consistency in about 2 hours.

We put it in jars while it is hot. You can consume it whenever you want.
