250-300 g strawberries
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
1 glass of water Milk
1/2 teaspoon of Olive Oil
1 packet of baking powder
1 pack of vanilla
1 lemon peel (grated)
For the above; Powdered sugar
Whisk eggs and sugar. When the foam becomes foamy, we add milk and oil and continue whisking. Add the sifted flour, baking powder and vanilla on it and mix it with a spatula.
We separate 8-10 of the strawberries for the top. Divide the remainder into 4 parts. We add the chopped strawberries and lemon zest to the cake mix and continue mixing with a spatula.
After taking the cake mix into the bowl, we add the strawberries cut in half on it and bake it in a preheated 180C oven for about 1 hour.
After cooling, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve. The strawberry cake is ready. Enjoy your meal.
In order for the cake to come out of the mold easily after baking, we grease the mold with a little butter and sprinkle flour on it. We turn it over and pour the excess flour from the mold.
Since strawberry is a very juicy fruit, it gets a little wet inside. I also used it in it to get the full strawberry flavor. You can also use strawberries on top if you want.
